Developed in response to the need for a transition from plastics to sustainable alternatives, Burgolux patented packaging is the culmination of over 25 years experience in precision cardboard engineering, offering a revolutionary solution for the cosmetics industry - a make up palette crafted almost entirely from paper stock.

Sustainability is at the core of Burgolux design. The product can be manufactured from recycled or recyclable materials. Redeploying paper stocks formerly only used by luxury cosmetics brands to outer package their product, this puts those papers at the heart of the product, dramatically reducing plastic usage.

We recognise the need for premium brands to maintain their existing aesthetics, and this product is the first paper palette in the sector which meets these requirements with luxury, quality, durability and brand recognition at the forefront every palette we make.

The palettes can accommodate powders, creams, balms, cake, poured cosmetics and applicators, for eye, cheek and lip.

The paper palette can be refilled and reused by replacing the cosmetics pans and recycling the empty ones before it reaches the end of its lifespan and is then itself completely recycled.

The environmental focus on paper and print technology means there is no need for plastic laminates, this compact can be made from FSC new pulp paper, partially or entirely recycled papers, coated with recyclable or biodegradable cellulose and printed using vegetable based inks and ethical recyclable foils - whilst maintaining the durability, finish and quality associated with luxury cosmetics packaging.

As the product is made of paper, it is also lighter for multiple shipping and environmental benefits.

In addition to providing the traditional function of a cosmetics compact - to deliver the product in perfect condition and in the elegance and style of your brand to the user - this product has additional beneficial features:

As it is made from paper it does not crack like traditional plastic compacts so does not suffer breakage from dropping, or hinge and closure catch failures, constantly maintaining its integrity.

When the compact is closed, an internal band lies on top of the cosmetics to hold them in place, therefore avoiding the common issue of make-up breaking up and falling out.

A clean mirror for the user every time: when the compact is pulled open the mirror slides past a hidden fabric strip.

Internal catches conveniently hold the mirror up at 45° for ease of use.
